I Want to Live in a World That …

We all want to feel loved and safe, and have all we need to survive and thrive. These are our basic and general desires, and below are some more specific desires that will help bring our general desires about.

  • We want to live in a world that is compassionate and fair towards us and our families.
  • We want to live in a world where we are accepted just as we are – without judgment, prejudice, or biases aimed at us or that undermine our efforts.
  • We want to live in world where we have the opportunities to become all that we can be.
  • We want to live in a world where we feel empowered and in control of our own destinies.
  • And we all want to live in a world where all this is possible for everyone on the Planet

To make the world we want manifest we have to believe it is possible.

And to support that belief, we have to ensure we are inviting into the world we want.

We have to think, say, and do what will bring it about. We have to claim it!

We now know the impact our thoughts have on our personal experiences. And as our words, attitudes, and actions are extensions of our thoughts and inner-beliefs, they also affect our personal experiences.

We may know, or at least have an inkling, that what we put out into the world is affecting the world around us. However, we aren’t often convicted enough to change it all, or don’t quite know how to go about it or where to start.

What many do not know is how much our seemingly small everyday attitudes and choices affect the world we live in. If we have a positive attitude, are fair, compassionate, and accepting of others, we are inviting these qualities into the world.

However, if we are negative, greedy, unfair towards others, or critical and judgmental of people, we are inviting greed, unfairness, criticism, and judgment into our world.

As a rule, our past has not taught us to be positive, giving, and accepting of others.

It has not taught us the importance of promoting attitudes that are life-affirming.

So, our default is to focus on the negative – regarding ourselves, others, and situations.

This blog article is based on concepts in my 2 books

“Your Journey to Peace …”    and

“Why We Are the Way We Are”

(Links to About Books below. Both available in Print and E-book)

Our minds have become accustomed to focus more on the ins and outs of a problem, rather than on the possible solutions. This is true with our difficulties, our issues with others, and with what is going on in the world.

To override this negative default position we inherited from Humanity’s past, we have to:

  • Consciously seek out life-affirming solutions.
  • Choose to extend to others the qualities we want to see in the world.
  • Proclaim what we want to see in the world with our attitudes, words, and actions.

This does not mean that we ignore bad things that are happening to us or in the world. We do have to give some attention to our issues and understand their whys and wherefores. This helps us develop appropriate solutions and to possibly avoid them happening again.

However, for us, and to bring about the world we want, we have to give more attention to the solutions for the issue at hand or what we want changed, rather than to the whys, wherefores, and the drama surrounding them.

On a personal level, to override the negative and claim what we want and who we want to be and to support it becoming manifest, it is helpful to repeat many times daily what that will look like.

For example, if we are struggling in our job situation or having conflict with those close to us we might repeat to our self: “I am happy and satisfied with my job,” or “I am patient with those around me.”

Claiming what we want or who we want to be as if it is already manifest

helps to override negative thought-patterns that keep us focused on what we do not now have,

or who we now are.

This is a vital aspect to bringing about change, as focusing on what we do not want invites more of the same into our sphere.

To bring about change, our being must hold the prevailing inner-belief that what we want is possible.

Negative thought-patterns support the belief of not having, rather than of having.

Claiming what we want as already manifest helps shift our inner-belief of not having, to having. And as our prevailing focus is positive and on what we want, rather than negative and on what we don’t want, we will be able to bring what we want to fruition more easily – and without it being influenced by the pessimistic aspects of negativity, which may bring in something new, but not of a positive nature.

In the same way, we must claim what we want to see in the world.

We still have to acknowledge and do what we can when see injustices of any kind, but our main focus has to be on the solutions and what we want to see in the world – not on blaming, ranting, or complaining about what is now happening.

We help bring about the world we want by focusing our thoughts, words, and attitudes on what we like and want, not on what we don’t like.

To help us override our negative thought patterns about what we see going on around us, we must also claim what we want to see manifest by proclaiming it here.

Law of Expansion - Universal Law 6 (of 6)

If we find ourselves falling into negative though-patterns or attitudes about the world around us, claiming how we want to see it already manifest helps change our prevailing focus from pessimism to optimism so that we are sending good vibs out into the world.

We can do this in our minds or out loud – alone, or with others. And writing them down and keeping them handy helps us remember.

This hopeful attitude increases the possibility for it to come about. Here are a few examples of how we might proclaim the world we want to see. Feel free to add your own, ignore some, or tweak aspects of any to more closely resemble your concerns about the world.

I Want to Live in a World – where we all feel safe and have all we need to survive.

I Want to Live in a World – where we extend respect and the qualities of love to each other.

I Want to Live in a World – that promotes hope and optimism.

I Want to Live in a World – where everyone is treated fairly – no matter their sex, race, creed, social standing, sexual orientation (add in others if you want).

I Want to Live in a World – that promotes compassion towards everyone.

I Want to Live in a World – where all people are accepted just as they are – without judgment, prejudice, or biases aimed at them or that undermine their efforts.

I Want to Live in a World – where everyone on the Planet has the opportunity to become all that they can be.

I Want to Live in a World – where everyone feels empowered and in control of their own destinies.

I Want to Live in a World – where we are taught how to deal with conflicts respectfully, and avoid them whenever possible.

I Want to Live in a World – where we are proud to say we live in a country where our people are happy, feel safe, have all they need to survive and thrive, and are empowered to become all they can be, (instead of being proud that our country is the richest or most powerful in the world, or because it has the strongest armies).

I Want to Live in a World – where we live by the lessons in our religions, like unconditional love, sharing, and compassion, which unite us, (instead of the dogmas that separate us).

I Want to Live in a World – where we are taught to respect other religions than our own.

I Want to Live in a World – where the politicians show respect for each other and discuss the issues and their different beliefs and approaches calmly.

I Want to Live in a World – where businesses are run honestly, efficiently, and fairly, and adopt practices whereby the good of the many outweigh the good of the few.

I Want to Live in a World – where we ensure fairness for all as we balance the benefits of democracy and the freedoms of entrepreneurship.

I Want to Live in a World – where we respect and care for our Planet.

I Want to Live in a World – where we believe that Gaia, our loving home, can be returned to her beautiful pristine original self – and work together towards that end.

I Want to Live in a World – where we value the importance of reconciliation efforts with people who we disregarded or abused in the past, like the Indigenous people, the mentally ill, the disabled, the poor, or any group society marginalized.

Just like when attempting to shift our though-processes for our personal growth and we are encouraged to keep a written sheet of our proclamations handy, we can do the same when attempting to shift to more positive mind-talk regarding what we want to see in the world.

A few tidbits from Journey ...

Humanity is going through a Shift. It is our cosmic time to wake up from the illusion of our separateness from the Oneness we emerged from – and from our separateness form each other. (Introduction).

Whether positive or negative, our unconscious beliefs act upon us without our consent, or real knowledge of why. (Chapter 1, Why We Are the Way We Are).

Ideas of me-and-you and us-and-them reinforce unity. Those of me-vs-you and us-vs-them reinforce separation and divisiveness. (Chapter 1, Why We Are the Way We Are).

Many have confused God’s revenge with the Universal Law of Balance and that of Cause and Effect playing out in our lives. (Chapter 2, Universal Laws / Kingdom Principles).

Just as there are proven laws such as gravity that govern our physical world, there are also laws that govern our Universe and affect us. It is in the understanding and applying of the Universal Laws that pertain to us that we can become our Best Self and feel empowered in all areas of our life. (Chapter 2, Universal Laws / Kingdom Principles).

Our capacity to love others is in direct relationship to how much we love ourselves. (Chapter 3, What We Can Do About It)

Couples are usually just smashing into each other trying to get their needs met. (Chapter 5, Relationships)

Our relationships are affected by our presumed need to maintain our masks of fear. (Chapter 5, Relationships)

We yearn for intimacy in our relationships, but the playing out of our unconscious influences drives wedges between us. (Chapter 5, Relationships)

Our Relationships Are Pre-set Soul Contracts: The highest purpose of our relationships is to work out our unconscious influences: our fears, neediness, vulnerabilities, misperceptions, and false notions about love. (Chapter 5, Relationships)

We are not exercising true free will if we live under the tutelage of unconscious influences. (Chapter 6, Words, Symbols, Rituals, Concepts, Prayers).

Being somewhat enlightened means that we have some awareness of the cause and effect of our thoughts, attitude, and actions, and of our interconnectedness. (Chapter 6, Words, Symbols, Rituals, Concepts, Prayers).

We can reconcile our apparent relationship with extra-terrestrials with our belief systems. (Chapter 7, Science).

The electromagnetic fields we create from our heart chakras are at least forty times stronger than those created from our brains. (Chapter 8, Health and Healing; Death and Dying).

Our need to reconcile what we put upon the Indigenous peoples is in direct relationship to our countries successful advancements. (Chapter 9, The Planet and Abundance).

Our planet is a living, breathing organism … and just like us she has to cleanse herself of toxins – the physical and emotional toxins we have put upon her, and she has had to shrug them off.  (Chapter 9, The Planet and Abundance)

At levels beyond our awareness we chose to be here at this time of ‘The Shift’ to help bring about our and Gais’s Ascensions.  (Chapter 10, Ascension).

The availability of free energy is in the realm of possibilities. However, we must believe in this potential; this will help Gaia align herself to the higher dimension from which we can more easily bring it forth. (Chapter 11, The Future)

When our path is not clearly defined, going with the flow of where we are now, opens us pathways to the wisdom needed for the next step. (Conclusion)

This Shift is encouraging the balancing of our male and female energies. This will make us feel energized, as the imbalance of these seemingly opposing forces encourages us to deny important, innate aspects of ourselves. (Conclusion)

C

Although We Yearn for Harmony, Greed, Judgement, Prejudice, and Hate are often Insidious and Hard to Override

Living at peace within ourselves and in harmony with others is what will make us happy: it is what we all yearn for. However, as many of us do not have a strong connection to our True Self, inner-peace often eludes us.

We unconsciously sense this lack of connection within our being causing inner frustration. In attempts to address this inner frustration, we may adopt attitudes that create disharmony around us.

Although Humanity has evolved spiritually considerably since – say the middle ages, many of the unfair and disempowering attitudes are still anchored within society.

For most of us, any negative or disempowering attitude we hold only causes conflict within our own sphere. However, we still see much blatant greed, biases, prejudice, inequality, and all aspects of hatred expressed in the world every day.

We are often appalled at how some people are treated – simply because of their size, sex, status, race, the color of their skin; for the way they dress, their beliefs, or their sexual orientation.

Witnessing unjust attitudes towards others may cause us to examine ours and may even encourage us to change them. It may inspire us to work to help a branch of society who is unfairly treated or disenfranchised. However, not all greed, judgement, prejudice, hate, and other disempowering attitudes about or towards others are so obvious and above-board.

Most of us are usually not greedy, judgmental, prejudiced, or harbor hate towards others. However, many of us do hold some subtle nuances of these attitudes buried within us – and sometimes they sneak out in covert, or even in overt ways.

Our personal and generational histories often held and even promoted negative attitudes towards others or groups of people – either through blame, revenge, judgement, prejudice, greed, hate, and even cruelty. And even if it did not, our collective history has.

We may not be overtly greedy, judgmental, or prejudice, but we still hold some cellular memory within us from Humanity’s past history of divisive and disempowering attitudes towards others. These may come out in subtle ways through our unconscious influences, which act upon us without our consent.

Society has evolved from say 200 years ago, and more recently we have become more conscious of the need to improve our attitudes and actions toward individuals and the disenfranchised. However, the influence of our past history is insidious and its effects are hard to shake.

Greed, prejudices, and injustice towards others are often deceptively crouched in ideals, social and religious beliefs, and even in helping others. These may be outwardly visible, or they may sneak out from time to time in subtle ways.

Most of us believe we are fair and accepting of all people,

And most of us are – most of the time.

However, sometimes we think we are being fair and accepting towards others but are unaware of how subtle the attitudes that promote negativity or unfairness can be. And some of us have become trapped in mind-sets that hold, support, and perpetuate biases, prejudices, and injustices.

We may uphold ideals, beliefs, or principles from past influences, adopt new ones, or get inspired to promote causes we believe are important. Most of the time we are able to do this without affronting others because of what they believe or support.

However, sometimes without realizing it in discussing our beliefs or endorsing or promoting our causes subtle judgments sneak in. And some of us believe we are justified in calling out others and criticizing their beliefs to promote ours.

Critical and attacking modes are left-over attitudes from our past history that we must work to overcome – individually and as a collective. They perpetuate disharmony, as the vibrations they give off invite more conflict into our life and the world.

Most of us are now realizing the value of extending respect to others, no matter how much we disagree with them. On a practical level, we can resolve differences more effectively with respectful communication and/or mediation. On an esoteric level, the vibrations this gives off creates an atmosphere for more resolution to take place in the world.

Many of us who have learned, been inspired by, or who have adopted new approaches to mental, physical, or spiritual health are anxious to share these findings with others. And most people do so with great insight and humility.

However, sometimes in our desire to share or to be helpful our passion turns into pushiness, and the other feels judged and in the wrong. Conveying newfound knowledge can make us feel important, and this can affect how we communicate it.

Our past has not trained us on the subtleties of judgement, biases, and prejudices. To ensure we are coming across as we intend, we must be aware of how others are receiving our messages.

Without realizing it, underlying threads of me-better-than-you, us-better-than-them, or a holier than though attitude can weave its way into our communications with others.

No matter what is going on around us, to create more harmony in our life and to help bring about a fairer, more accepting, and harmonious world, we can ensure that our communications with and about others are open and compassionate, and accepting of them – no matter how and in what way they are different from us. This helps people feel accepted and validated.

The more a person feels validated and accepted the less he or she is inclined to aggressive or defensive tendencies. They create more harmony around them, which helps diffuse disharmony with people they come in contact with who are not inclined to be fair or respectful.

Each open, compassionate, and accepting response we make creates a snowball effect. To ensure we are communicating in a way that builds up others we must:

Choose Our Words Carefully. Ensure Our Tone Is Gentle.

And Our Body Language Is Open.

We Must Not Fall into the Trappings of Greed – Even if It Is All Around Us

For eons, greed has been the mainstay of those in and with power and has been perpetrated upon the masses. Kings and rulers lorded over their people to such an extent that individuals starved while they lived in luxury.

This caused people who may not have otherwise been greedy to hide, hoard, and steal – just to survive. They were suspicious of those in power – and for good reason. They got stuck in a mind-set of lack – of there not being enough to go around, and a mind-set of disempowerment set in – of not having control over their circumstances.

Although today, at least in most parts of the world, our leaders are not greedy to the point that people are dying on the streets, but they still make the rules – often to suit themselves.

The wealthy still hold power over people’s lives as they get to hire, fire, buy-out indiscriminately, and make back-room deals to support their projects with often no concern for others involved, or for the public.

We now know that corruption is rampant among government, business, and the wealthy. We too have reason to be suspicious. And we are angry.

This may cause us to think that the government cheats me, so why shouldn’t I cheat on my taxes? However, doing so only perpetuates the problem, as cheating is buying into the belief that the Universe cannot provide for us.

We have inherited the mind-sets of lack and disempowerment from our ancestors. And we have been witness to, or even had experience of, the greed of those with power making decisions that benefit themselves to the detriment of others.

It is understandable that this might cause us to want to be stingy, greedy, to hoard, or to be concerned only about ourselves and our families. We do have to be practical with our finances regarding our futures, however, being concerned with only our own welfare perpetuates this old belief of lack in the world.

To help bring about an egalitarian world where everyone has everything they need and the opportunity to reach their potentials, we have to believe it can be so.

And we have to act on that belief by ensuring we are not being selfish or greedy with our finances, our goods, and our time – even if others are.

Our belief in abundance and the hope it encompasses creates the vibration to invite abundance and good things into our life. It also helps to create the atmosphere for abundance to flourish around the world so that everyone can live in comfort and feel empowered.

Below is a peek at more inside the book:

Our personal and collective attitudes have shaped our past, affect our present, and create a blueprint for our future. (Introduction)

All Humanity’s issues arise from the false belief of our separateness from Source. (Introduction)

Humanity’s history has been based on conditional love. This has created conflicting messages within us, because we extol the virtues of love, but do not uphold them. (Chapter 1)

Somewhere deep within the crevices of our mind lies the cellular memories of the original feelings of living within a harmony-ruled paradigm, and so it remains a longing deep within us. (Chapter 1)

Feeling peace and being happy and empowered requires that we believe in our hearts that we deserve to feel peaceful, and be happy and empowered. (Chapter 3)

We have been detached from and unaware of the unconditional love that is at the core of our being. (Chapter 4)

Don’t wallow in what you have or haven’t done—don’t get stuck in the darkness! (Chapter 4)

It is usually our intellect that is running the show, and our right brain and its creative impulses is usually at its beck and call. (Chapter 4)

Couples are usually just smashing into each other trying to get their needs met. (Chapter 5)

We yearn for intimacy in our relationships, but the playing out of our unconscious influences drives wedges between us. (Chapter 5)

An understanding of past-lives and our past and current soul’s journey can explain why some children in a family may have an issue with say, addiction, while another does not. (Chapter 6)

All form we perceive is an illusion and is of a dualistic nature. Everything within this duality, including us, the Masters, the extra-terrestrials, the light-beings, the Archangels, Spirit, and even the Universe is an illusion. (Chapter 6)

The Universe is holographic. As we move beyond the limitations of the 3rd dimension Humanity has existed under we will be able to take advantage of all it entails. This will allow us to feel empowered, be able to reach our full potentials, and feel more connected to one another. (Chapter 7)

As we continue to uncover all about who the gods of old really were, we must be careful not to allow defensiveness about our beliefs to overshadow the true intentions of the Masters and the intrinsic value of the belief systems that blossomed in their wake. (Chapter 7)

Some of the changes Gaia is going through are simply part of her evolutionary process, but many are because of the abuse we have put upon her through greed, ignorance, and modernization. Both the physical and emotional abuses we have put upon our Planet has affected her, and she has had to shrug them off. (Chapter 9)

At one point in history Humanity lived in harmony with nature and lsustainably with the Planet’s natural elements. The further we fell into duality, lack, greed, and getting what we wanted and needed to survive became our motivation. This grew to such an extent that we now even manipulate nature to those ends. One of the Indigenous peoples’ main purposes was to maintain their connection to the Planet so that when we strayed, they would be able to show us the way back. We must heed their advice! (Chapter 9)

Keeping a vision of the highest ideal of our purpose at the forefront of our consciousness will help keep the pitfalls that monetary abundance and the power it brings with it at bay.  (Chapter 9)

The Ascension of Gaia is a cosmic event of huge proportions! At levels beyond our awareness we chose to be here on earth at this time of the Shift and Gaia’s Ascension for this personal and cosmic journey. (Chapter 10)

We don’t have to understand or even believe all the talk about the Shift or Ascension; we just have to embody or embrace the qualities of love inherent in the higher dimensions. (Chapter 10)

Just as we have the power to become all that we can be, we also have the power to create a beautiful, clean, safe world where everybody thrives. However, it will take collective optimistic vibrations to bring the world we want into our sphere of possibilities and overrule the lack paradigm that remains firmly entrenched in our unconscious minds. (Chapter 11)

The availability of free energy is in the realm of possibilities. However, we must believe in this potential; this will help Gaia align herself to the higher dimension from which we can more easily bring it forth. (Chapter 11)

We all have to find the balance between working within the realities of our lives and our world and aiming to create new and better realities wherever possible. (Conclusion)

Every contact with another person is an opportunity to offer notions of unity and Oneness, or those of polarity and separation. (Conclusion)

Love, Joy, and Interconnectedness is Our True Nature:  Abundance and Creativity is Our Inheritance

We are all love incarnate. We all emerged from the universal creative force that created and holds everything together (often called God). This benevolent force embodies unconditional love and personifies joy and interconnectedness.

We all still hold a spark of that love within us, and being aligned with the unifying principle that underlies it – a Oneness – allows us to feel our interconnectedness.

Aligned with the love inherent within us we are confident, optimistic, fearless, open-minded, and can easily answer the call of what our soul/heart whispers to us. Being loving, accepting of others, and sharing and promoting equality for all are manifestations of the principles of Oneness at work and demonstrations of being aligned with the interconnectedness within it.

Abundance, feelings of empowerment, and the ability to create are also part of our inheritance, and when we embody the qualities of love and the principles of Oneness we are able to create abundantly and feel empowered.

At our core, we are all still connected to the love and fearlessness within the Oneness we emerged from, but we have lost touch with it.

As Humanity fell deeper and deeper into the duality we chose at our beginnings, we became distanced from who we truly are. We lost our capacity to feel the love and pure joy inherent within us, and we became timid and limited in our ability to create fearlessly and abundantly.

Our sense of interconnectedness weakened, and it no longer felt natural to express and extend unconditional love, or to join with others in unity of purpose. We had become stuck in the paradigm of lack, limitation, fear, and greed and as time went on, these limiting and disempowering attitudes became our standard. We forgot there was another way to navigate life. (I discuss “our beginnings” in chapter 1, Why We Are The Way We Are).

We still hold a beautiful but distant memory of our origins, our innocence, and of the unconditional love within it. And we all now long for that love, and ache for the unbiased acceptance we know is our inheritance.

Disconnected from the love within, we seek to fulfill this yearning outside of ourselves, but as others can rarely match the unconditional love and feelings of unbiased acceptance we remember and now ache for, we are disappointed.

Our striving is often a guise to feel powerful and reconnect to our ability to create abundantly and feel empowered. However, as our connection to this innate ability is now weak, we are often ineffective and become frustrated.

Our pushiness is sometimes born of an honest desire to share and/or to help others. However, as we have lost our ability to connect to the integrity of true sharing and unity of purpose, our attempts are often misguided and/or create conflict.

When not aligned to the Oneness paradigm, our perceptions of who we, who others are, and what the possibilities are become skewed. We do not see life through love and its qualities, but through the murky lens of fear and its qualities. Rather than navigating life from the premise of abundance, fearlessness, and sharing, we approach it through lack, limitation, and greed.

Aligned to the Oneness paradigm our perceptions of our and others’ true realities are intact and our sense of interconnection is strong. This allows us to approach life based on me-and-you and us-and-others attitudes – and encourages sharing and unity of purpose.

When our connection to the Oneness paradigm is weak we misperceive who we and others are and our sense of interconnection is weak. This causes us to adopt attitudes of me-against-you and us-against-them – creating separate and conflicting agendas.

The misperceptions we inherited from our personal and collective pasts are now part of our operating system. We live under the ruse that conditional love is normal. We believe in limitation – that there is not enough love or goods to go around. We hold a false belief that we are not good enough – just as we are, and so we strive to look and be better.

Society has supported these notions, causing these disempowering beliefs to be further anchored into our psyches. And as these false premises influence our thoughts, attitudes, actions, and reactions, our belief in conditional love and limitation will continue to increase – until we consciously override it.

We have become stuck in life-approach patterns that cause us to focus on our problems and struggles instead of on the fixes and potentials. And even though our personal life experiences and personalities affect how these misperceptions and beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world around affect how we navigate life, they are still ingrained in many of us.

The attitudes Humanity has embraced and perpetuated are insidious and lurk in the deep recesses of our minds. We must become aware of how subtle negative and disempowering attitudes are affecting us as individuals, as well as the world as a whole. We must address them.

We can easily see how Humanity has been trapped and entrenched in a false paradigm based on fear and lack. It has been played out on the world stage every day, as blame, power, and control have been the mainstays of society. However, we are starting to see the cracks in this false façade.

We have not been able to see that we exist within this false, illusionary state of me-against-you and us-against-them that we unintentionally embraced, but it is what keeps us divided by luring us into separate and conflicting agendas – individually and collectively.

Until recently, we have not even known that we can, or maybe should, change or update our current beliefs, shift our attitudes, or examine our reactions. However, we can’t not know what we are now learning.

Love is better than hate. Sharing is better than greed.

Fairness is better than injustice. Acceptance is better than discrimination.

There is a unifying factor that links the Universe and everything and everyone in it together – including us. Our past has not trained us to access or tune into the unconditional love within us for our self, to extend it towards others, or to embrace a sense of unity consciousness – but this is changing.

We are now learning the importance of tuning into the love, wisdom, and power we all hold within us. We are also learning the importance of expressing love and it qualities out into the world. We are starting to embrace our inheritance!
